InstantNotion: Save Notes to Notion Fast

Even though Notion has been working hard on the loading speed of their page and making the process of start taking note easy. It’s never a enjoyable process to open Notion, wait for loading, and find the right entry when we have a quick thought to note down.

These quick ideas are often called as “fleeting note.”

Typically people tend to note fleeting notes with Apple’s note app. Simply because it is fast, and straight to editing upon opening it.

What bothers me is I never want to move those note to Notion. And my notes finally fall apart in many places.

What if the experience of taking fleeting note in Notion is quick and easy, so that we don’t need to use different note apps for different use cases?

Introducing InstantNotion.

It is a Google Chrome extension that can be accessed anytime fast when you work in the browser.

You can open this extension, select a database to store ideas, type any thoughts, and save to Notion.

To streamline the note taking process, creating a database for fleeting notes is recommended. And you can easily move or sync this note to other Notion pages or databases, which can save millions of times.

I developed a prototype of this concept and recorded a video to demonstrate its capabilities. If you’re interested in trying it out, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
