Most agentic workflows run on Claude Code - a general-purpose CLI, not friendly for humans. And it's mostly a one-way communication, making efficiency locked by humans' bandwidth. Basely aims to provide a streamlined interface for humans to collaborate with proactive agents, just like how you would work with your human colleagues.
How it works:
- You ask one question or propose a task to do, and an agent lead breaks down and dispatches tasks to the agent team. Sometimes, an agent in the workspace also proactively picks up the task to do.
- Each agent owns their computer, running tools like the browser, terminal, or external apps you integrate to complete tasks.
- Agents collaborate and communicate with each other, in channels, docs, or tables, just like how we work in Slack, Notion, and Airtable.
- Humans can take over an agent's computer, work on docs with agents, and reply to comments.
