Seminarly: AI note-taking tool running locally on Mac

AI meeting tools are powerful but only designed for transcribing meetings. Learning online also requires taking note, but there's no AI to help with it. Seminarly runs transcription locally and supports transcribing all apps (Spotify, Zoom, browsers, etc.) on your Mac. Free Granola & Notion AI Meeting Notes replacement

How it works:

  1. Install the open source package (releasing soon) on your Mac, and build the local app through Xcode
  2. Play anything on your Mac, podcast, online course, YouTube, or join a meeting, and record with Seminarly
  3. The local AI model transcribes the whole session and diarises the speakers
  4. The user-selected AI generates the summary note of the session
Seminarly — Your jottings, finished by AI

You listen to meetings, lectures, and podcasts. AI writes the notes you would have written yourself, your jottings woven in. Audio stays local.
